Welcome to Philosopher's Tone
Greetings to one and all!
Professor Rebus here with thoughts, snippets and a little bit of wisdom on how to keep your brain healthy and active as you age.
Let’s start then by looking at this concept of time. It’s one of few things that are the same for everyone. The difference lies in how you use those 24 hours in a day.
Don’t let other people decide for you how you spend your time. Take control and take time for yourself. Time to think – it is a source of power. Time to love and be loved – it is a privilege and a gift. Time to work – it is the price of success. Time to play – it keeps you younger longer. Time to be friendly – it is a way to find happiness. Time for a good laugh – it is the music of the soul.
Never wish your time away. The present is a gift after all.
Can you imagine if everyone took time to do these things? Wouldn’t the world be a far better place?
Just remember that ‘everyone’ starts with ‘someone’, and that someone could be you.
Signing off,
The Prof
